Due Friday: Biome Post Card Guiding Questions Sheet. The questions are listed below.
Due Tuesday: Biome Post Card writing. This should be factual with creative writing. Make us believe you really are visiting this biome. Remember tips I gave you in class to accomplish this.

Requirements:

  • The specific name of the biome & relative location (Which country is it in?)


  • The amount of rainfall/precipitation this biome typically receives in a year


  • The time of year you are in this biome while writing (It does NOT have to be NOW!) What is the light like?


  • Current temperature and weather conditions of the biome (Pretend you're there; what’s it like?)


  • Describe your clothing and gear based on the weather & biome condition


  • Describe the natural habitat (What does it look, smell, sound, feel like? DO NOT LIST THINGS embed your thoughts in descriptive sentences!)


  • Give examples of at least 4 animals found in this biome and include one interesting fact about the animal's adaptation and why you think that is an adaptation for that animal.


  • Write a detailed description about ONE of these animals. This must also include an explanation of the animal’s adaptations and how it survives its biome.
